Florida Spring Break 2016
Day 1 - Springfield, MO to Tunica, MS
Started out in Springfield, MO at Bass Pro and worked our way east. First stop of the day was Mammoth Springs in Arkansas. Several waterfalls with a small museum regarding the generator room and equipment. Neat stop and the boys enjoyed the walk (run) around the lake. Also had a train station but we passed.
Stop two was Memphis downtown area with a stop in Bass Pro and the Welcome Center. Memphis is on our list to come back! That's right Bass Pro in a pyramid! Has a elevator to viewing deck but cost $10/person, children depending on the time. Was one of the best Bass Pro's I've been to.
While you're at it I'd recommend a stop at the welcome center right down the road from Bass Pro. Everything you need to know they have it.
Finally made it a bit late to Tunica, MS. It was 30 miles off of the interstate so in hindsight should of just stayed on the interstate and visited the Walmart at few miles down. BUT what fun would of that been? Casinos and more casinos, most have dry docking areas for the cheap RVers.
