Road to Niagara Part 1

     On the last day of July 2015 we set out for Niagara Falls. This is part 1 of the trip. 

     Night one was a stay over in Hannibal MO at Mark Twain Cave Campground. Not a bad campground, nice playground with plenty of kids. 
"As part of our Nations Bicentennial the Missouri Department of Conservation recognized certain trees throughout Missouri as Liberty Trees. This Burr Oak started as a seedling in 1731 and is included in Famous and Historic Trees of the United States by the Department of Agriculture"
     
Day two headed toured the town and took in the mighty Mississippi river before heading west.
      
Was time to head west into Illinois...
